Newspaper's online blog seeks participants in new leagues

I'm Robert Sanchez, a sports writer from The Denver Post. I just started a new blog on our site at http://www.denverpostbloghouse.com/fantasybaseball/, and I'm looking for people who would want to participate in the first Denver Post fantasy leagues.

The free 12-team, 5X5 mixed league has been filled, but we have openings in AL- and NL-only. Jim Armstrong, a Post columnist and a regular guest in ESPN's "Around the Horn," is participating in the AL-only. Troy Renck, The Post's Colorado Rockies beat writer (and a regular on ESPN's "Cold Pizza) is in the NL-only.

My friend Sam Walker, the author of Fantasyland, is generously donating several signed copies of his book as prizes. We'll be offering many more prizes during and after the season.

Unsure as of yet. Since we're picking up the bill, we might go with TQ Stats.

I'm interested in you AL league. I'm from Baltimore and have been playing/commissioning an AL Only since 1990. Would love to hear more about your league and the top-level competition. Is it an auction or snake? Free agents via waivers or faab?
