I always liked Grace. Good guy and did a good job for me. Hated to see him get old.

Associated Press PHOENIX -- Infielder Carlos Baerga stayed with the Arizona Diamondbacks, agreeing Friday to a $1 million, one-year contract.
Baerga, 35, established a club record last season with 19 pinch hits. His .345 average on pinch-hit at-bats was tops among all major league players with at least 40 pinch-hit at-bats.
Baerga also started 15 games at second base, 13 at first and four at third.
He hit .343 with four homers and 39 RBIs in 105 games.
In addition to his base salary, Baerga would earn an additional $100,000 if he has 200 plate appearances.

He's one of those solid players who was actually a nice guy. People forget he had the most hits of anyone in the 1990s.
A few of us are aware of that though.
