He is very raw. He is very far away as far as college pitchers go. He does have nice upside, but he is not in my top 75 prospects right now. He will likely be a number 3 starter in the majors.
"I do not think baseball of today is any better than it was 30 years ago... I still think Radbourne is the greatest of the pitchers." John Sullivan 1914-Old athletes never change.

I totally agree with this. I think he could Top out at a #2 starter, but it's hard to project him. I can't recall any players that have been such big prospects in both Football and Baseball, but I'll be interested to see what he can do focusing totally on Baseball. To me, I see him at the same level as Daniel Bard. I think he is a slightly safer bet to be in the Bigs, but I think Bard edges him in Upside.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.
He's actually being groomed to be a reliever at this time. His mechanics aren't exactly polished, but he was still getting the ball up there at 90 without perfect form. He's already been working on his delivery with the coaching staff and is beginning to show increased velocity in a short amount of time.
Jody, Jody Davis. Hits 'em high and far. Jody, Jody Davis. He's a superstar. Holy Cow!!!! http://www.stinkytee.com
I recall this guy named Bo Jackson who was a big prospect in football in baseball. Smart alecking aside, however, Brian Jordan, Kirk Gibson and Deon Sanders were all football stars who succeeded in MLB, althoug Gibson never played pro. Then there was Penn St star DJ Dozier, who made the big leagues and quickly washed out, and Drew Henson who turned out to be a pathetic failure at both football and baseball.
