I think you could use some saves as well as steals but saves could be had by combing the wire throughout the year for a bullpen change. I think you actually have 1 too many bats. So I would look to trade one of your 3 DHs for a closer. I'm not sure about Cantu but I understand it. Other than that, great job.

I don't like Laird, but if he is the best of what is left, ya gotta take him. You may need one more closer.

Thanks. I picked up Laird in the 2nd to last round and he was about all that was left.

Batting: Great lineup... steals will come (even Duffy had 26 last season), plus u have Beltran...

Pitching: WEAK... Dice-K isn't proven (not yet at least), Burnett is a walking injury report, Kazmir as your ACE: ok but not great, Saito is a pickup I really like, and Fuentes is inconsistent (had him last year so I would know)... forget steals for now and work on getting pitching

well done. i think kazmir and hamels are having huge years. i do agree you can unload some of that DH power and try to score a more proven catcher.

Pretty nice, I'd agree, but try to get a top flight SP if you can.
