That's a good move for Arizona , not so good for the Brewers though.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

BIG Love the name. I have been named The Dude in my league ever since that movie came out. It's a great. movie.
My name is The Big Lebowski in one of my basketball leagues
And I have to agree, that movie is great. There are a few guys on the FFCafe that had names referring to the movie too. My favourite quote is: "This is not 'nam, this is bowling, there are rules"
I never really drank white russians until I saw the movie
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

How did Cintron, a SS, make Spivey, a 2B ..... expendable?
There was talk last year that Hairston was ready to come to the majors at 2nd base and Spivey would move to SS. With Cintron playing as well as he has, Spivey has been made expendable.
ESPN is reporting that the Brewers will receive Lyle Overbay, Craig Counsell and Jorge De La Rosa from the Diamondbacks for Richie Sexson. De La Rosa is more valuable than Chris Capuano, but this isn't any better than the deal reported last night. The Brewers don't really need Spivey with Rickie Weeks on the way up, but at least they should have been able to flip him to another team for a prospect or two.
So...the deal got changed...Capuano is out, De La Rosa is in.
Brewers GM Doug Melvin is denying that a Richie Sexson-to-the-Diamondbacks deal has been completed. "We have no deal with any team," Melvin said through team spokesman Jon Greenberg Saturday evening. "I'll be back at work on Monday, working the telephones." Sexson is probably going to end up in Arizona, but Brewers fans can at least hope that the team will receive a better package than the one that is currently being reported (Junior Spivey, Lyle Overbay, Craig Counsell and Chris Capuano).
