Ok, so someone please 'splain why Jered Weaver lasted til round 12, when his ADP everywhere else is somewhere in round 8!?!? I hated taking him there more than Snakes stealing my Sheets reach in the 5th! <img src=/forums/images/smiles/kiss.gif>

Every year I'm increasingly unimpressed with ADP's. So that's where people take him. Well... people are stupid! And I've learned after 4 years to completely disregard them in this league. If a player should be taken based on what he'll produce, take him. Don't even look at his stupid ADP and hope he makes it back to you. And with this one I violated my own cardinal rule - I'm not convinced Weaver's worth a 12th round pick, but I succumbed to peer pressure. :-/

Grr. Had to rant. Stupid Jered Weaver.

hahaha well there are a few factors why i wasnt taking him

1. i couldnt afford to draft another SP for awhile after my top 3

2. his rookie season was too good to be true, literally. hes gotta come back to earth.

3. ive heard his shoulder is sore already and the season hasnt started. not a problem i want going into the season.

4. Sorry for the Sheets. im willing to deal though!

I had Weaver Qued up. He scares me because of the drop off King Felix went through and the injury concerns of Weaver. I think he is a good value were you picked him.

I set up the Yahoo league. I'll get rosters entered shortly after we finish drafting.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

I think the person that spends the least amount of time on the clock should get first waiver wire position. ;-D

We're down again. Only lasted a little while last time, let's see if it clears up in a bit.

We still only have 10 teams in Yahoo. Who's missing? Seems like willie and cheese, but I haven't spent the time to narrow it down for certain, nor should I have to. If you're not there, GET IN THERE!

Have a nice day. :-)

I was told if we don't post here at least once a month, the service bot will come along and delete us. :,-(

So, I'll try to remember to post updates here from time to time so we can all look back to a time when we thought we stood a chance. :*)
