Why not just look at the top of the page here with the Cafe rankings and take those guys out?

Agreed. He's still young but he's done incredibly well against older competition. He's the best talent available. The only question will be where he ends up playing. But I think his bat outweighs those concerns.

whups

sorry, forgot to include that i already have billy butler

i was thinking mainly out of this pool:
maybin, bruce, lincecum, miller(s), mccutchen, c.b. young, gallardo, longoria (but i already have arod and atkins so he's probably pointless), and maybe even brignac or tulowitzki since my ss is the aging tejada

I agree Maybin overall but if you want to target pitching then Gallardo is a very close third to Bailey and Hughes IMO.

i like Longoria alot also. i heard the guys at BA on a podcast comparing him to gordon. if he ever moves to 2b (not likely, but there is a slight chance) he could be gold. still, you might be better off going with someone who has a little more of a track record
