Why not just look at the top of the page here with the Cafe rankings and take those guys out?

Agreed. He's still young but he's done incredibly well against older competition. He's the best talent available. The only question will be where he ends up playing. But I think his bat outweighs those concerns.

i was thinking mainly out of this pool:
maybin, bruce, lincecum, miller(s), mccutchen, c.b. young, gallardo, longoria (but i already have arod and atkins so he's probably pointless), and maybe even brignac or tulowitzki since my ss is the aging tejada
i like Longoria alot also. i heard the guys at BA on a podcast comparing him to gordon. if he ever moves to 2b (not likely, but there is a slight chance) he could be gold. still, you might be better off going with someone who has a little more of a track record
