Does anyone else find themselves becoming more and more interested in the achievements found in the game?

I got a 360 for Christmas, and up until 2-3 weeks ago, I could care less. But then I started to explore, and pay attention, and now I find myself going back into games to get certain achievements.

Anyone else finding themselves increasingly addicted???

I'm not into them, but some people on my friends list have a ton, I've seen as high as 24,000

I have 6000. Xbox will soon hand out marketplace points based on your achievements. Like a bonus.

achievements are fun to collect I'm am up to 4,000 now just got 5 of them on mlb 2k7 ;-D

. Seeing as I just signed up for the rewards program I need about 600 more!!

Gamerpoints or achievements? I know they go hand in hand, but someone can't possibly have 24000 achievements, right? You're just talking about total gamerpoints I assume....

I think I have a paltry 625, but hopefully more to come..

I think I'm around 1500. I don't specifically devote time to unlocking achievements, but I do like it when I do (obviously), I'm somewhat interested in them.
