It is ludacris. My school's basketball team is going to the LI finals this Saturday then states if they win. Believe me there will be plenty of boos.

Ridiculous. I loved getting booed at away games when I still played sports in high school and college. It always got me more amped than getting cheered by the home crowd.

I agree. Nothing was better in baseball against our arch rivals then playing at their place and getting booed all night long.

I'm with you, man. When you're playing in front of 2,200 fans, and they're all chanting "HOR-TON SUCKS! HOR-TON SUCKS!" that's when you know you're good, and when the game is the most fun.

I think its more aiming toward 'airball' chants, 'bull&%#" chants at referees, and many others that have become pretty common at high school basketball games. I stopped taking my daughter (4) to our high school games simply because of the language in the stands. (by kids and parents)

Gimme a break - being a New Yorker, maybe I'm just accustomed to booing so whenever I hear people complaining about this, I just laugh.

You pay for a ticket, you can boo. Boo the players, the umps, the ushers...it's all fair game.
