Madison, it would be nice from the Yankees perspective to tweak the Sox by signing Walker. He certainly performed well in the postseason last year. But Walker is all bat and no glove. The Yanks have too many guys like that already. They need to shore up the defense at 2B. Vina had been a nice player in the past but there is alot of mileage on those legs and he is coming off an injury plagued season. In describing Vina though, its too bad Steve Phillips isn't the GM at Shea anymore, otherwise he fits the description of a Phillips free agent signing.
I could be wrong in what I'm saying but I'll be dead before I realize it.
