We have a 7 man prospect draft, took Hughes with first pick... So, I have my two picks at the turn as soon as three managers make their picks.
The top rated prospects by my count are:
Name Pos Team Age
Nick Adenhart p LAA 20
Carlos Gonzalez of Ari 21
Scott Elbert p LA 21
Adam Jones cf Sea 21
Felix Pie of ChN 22
James Loney 1b LA 22
Jason Hirsh p Col 25
Joey Votto 1b Cin 23
Jarrod Saltalamacchia c Atl 21
Jacoby Ellsbury of Bos 23
Humberto Sanchez p NYA 23
Daric Barton 1b Oak 21
Colby Rasmus of StL 20
Franklin Morales p Col 21
Chuck Lofgren p Cle 21
Jeff Niemann p TB 24
Donald Veal p ChN 22
Eric Hurley p Tex 21
Travis Snider of Tor 19
Brandon Erbe p Bal 19
Josh Fields 3b ChA 24
John Danks p ChA 21
Ian Stewart 3b Col 21
Dexter Fowler of Col 20
Travis Buck of Oak 23
Ryan Sweeney of ChA 22
I am thinking about going with Fields and Rasmus. These are by far the two best players available...
However, since I do have ARam at 3rd and an OF full with Berk, Rocco, and Dye, would it be better to go with a position where I won't use one of my 7 keepers?!
SP is where I tend to land the most skepticism, but I do have Hughes, and Sheets and CC will most certainly be kept.
Where do you think I should go? Please rank your top five!

So would you agree with my assessment that Fields and Rasmus are the best available prospects? I see plenty of drafts that argue otherwise...
I like Rasmus (even though I just traded him away) so I'd pick him. I would go with someone I liked because they are prospects, it's impossible to know which ones will be the best.

I would take Carlos Gonzalez for sure, he is the best available guy imo. If I were you, I would also look to replacing Helton eventually. You may want to grab Votto with that second pick.

Carlos Gonzalez is best prospect on this list. Adenhart and Elbert are close, and if you really want or need pitching, draft Elbert, but Gonzalez is the best prospect.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.
Carlos Gonzalez is the best prospect. Then Rasmus. People either love fields or hate him. I fall into the latter group.

Niemannis to talented to let slip and your pitching is weaker than positions like OF and 3B so I like the Votto idea if you are thinking heavily on the future but the one you have to take at this point is gonzalez he is to good to pass up on but depending on what direction you're thinking of heading here are the guys I would think about for the 2nd pick
