Andrew Miller vs Tim Lincecum?

Sigh, here we go again with the "size" issue. This is like someone hatin' on someone cause their white or black. Damn guys give it a break. It's not like he'd be the only one who's not 6'5" to make it as a starting pitcher. Couple names ring to mind Johan Santana, Roy Oswalt, Scott Kazmir, Pedro Martinez. For me it's not an issue with size I just like Miller more. For someone that has a rubber arm and has never had injury problems Lincecum sure gets a lot of people who feel he'll never start.

FURTHER MORE have you not read what Will Carroll said about Lincecum's so called bad delivery? Sorry but, I'll take his word on this one...

"I LOVE his delivery. The more I see it, the more I like it, and I wonder every day if that's teachable. I like him as a starter -- no fact to show that he can't handle it yet -- but I think he could dominate as a reliever. Different? I wouldn't try to change his delivery, that's for sure. I might let him throw MORE than most at his level."

Even though I wasn't the one who posted the size/delivery thing, and I do think Linecum is better, I see what he is saying. He wasn't saying Linecum can't be sucessful, just that having to choose between the two, he would take Miller because of size, which makes perfect sense. If you look at history, yes, there have been plenty of undersized pitchers who have done well, but a big percentage of them fail. Bigger, harder throwers are more likely to have a better career in the bigs. Period.

But like i said, I like Linecum a little more because he reminds me alot of Oswalt. Undersized with nasty stuff.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.
