Jeff Zimmerman, who has had a slow recovery from Tommy John surgery, expects to resume throwing next week. "My arm feels really good," said Zimmerman, who last pitched in a big-league game Oct. 7, 2001. "I'm having a normal offseason, like any other healthy player would have. I started hitting the weights about three weeks ago, and I'll start throwing after Thanksgiving like I normally would do, not on any rehab program." If Zimmerman is healthy going into next season, he'll likely be Francisco Cordero's setup man. Source: Dallas Morning News
If he's healthy, that would make me happy. If he's still hiding an injury, then shut him down again.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I remember him
wow he sure took a long time to heal, ... If he's healthy, he should be an excellent setup man
He will definately help solidify the pen.....now if the Rangers just had a SP that could get it to the pen with a lead......
