What are the top 5 fringe guys you are watching in ST? By fringe I mean the Sean Burroughs type, not sleepers but good mlb players like Corey Hart. They don't need to make an impact this year, but some knowledge of those guys would be nice.
1. Termel Sledge-potential leadoff man?
2. Ruben Gotay-a guy with good pop for 2B and a good defender. Toolsy guy.
3. Jason Kubel-toolsy OF, battled injuries.
4. Rick Ankiel-I just want a feel good story.
5. Al Reyes-potential hold guy if you are in a league. And most don't notice him. The key is stay healthy.
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.
I was kind of curious if Adam Lind might be able to swing some sort of PT in Toronto. He had a nice cup of coffee last year but I think that Frank Thomas will likely put the squeeze on any DH AB unless he blows a gasket.
I'm watching Adam Lind, and hoping for a good spring out of him, so the Blue Jays change their mind and actually find him a roster spot to start the season. He's too good a hitter not to start on the team this year, IMO.
I am looking at the lower level of second basemen, guys like O. Hudson, L. Castillo and M. Giles... Some guys I can wait for that will give me some SB...
Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...
Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong
