This kid has(or should I say had?) a lot of upside. But hes been slowed by an arm injury that looks serious.

Does anyone have an update on this kid?

Do u think he still has a chance to be a very good pitcher(Top Pirate pitching prospect)

And what the hell are those Pirate minor league coaches doing to their young arms. This is like the 4th time a prospect has had problems.

(Players with no MLB experiance(including AMiller who had a cup of coffee last yr).

This one can't be pinned on the Pirates' coaching... he barely pitched at all last year because of a strained oblique, so it has nothing to do with anything the Pirates did.

Give it some time. He's supposed to see if he can throw in another week or two, and it might get a little clearer then. Elbow problems don't always become major injuries.
