Yahoo ranked him #2! I couldn't believe it. What do you project for him this year? Same? Better? Worse?

Yahoo's rankings are worthless. I just pre-ranked my picks in case I can't attend a live draft and I was moving some from the top 30 into the 100s and some from the 100s into the top 30.
From the official rulebook of baseball: "Baseball is a game played between two teams of nine players each." Therefore, baseball is a game played only in the National League.

i'll go against the masses here and say he wont repeat.....not a near 40-40 anyway......

a 300 average was an absolute fluke.....no one with that little plate discipline should be hitting that well.....there's a fine line between aggressive and impatient, and I think alfonso is on the wrong side of it.....

that being said, he's still the top option a second base.....
I just wouldn't pick him #2

25-40

id say HR will drop along with avg. maybe 30/40 and a 275 average
still above and beyond most second basemen besides kent. swings at too many bad pitches and is just not strong enough to hit 40 hr again.

well then how did he hit 40 HR's last year? did he get weaker over off-season?

i think he will do it again. im sure his hiting coach was all over him during the off-season about swingin' at balls in the strike zones. we will see how he does.
