i think that soriano will either repeat these number or even get better he is very atheletic and could revolutionize the pos. also didnt yahoo rank him #5

Yahoo's rankings are worthless. I just pre-ranked my picks in case I can't attend a live draft and I was moving some from the top 30 into the 100s and some from the 100s into the top 30.
From the official rulebook of baseball: "Baseball is a game played between two teams of nine players each." Therefore, baseball is a game played only in the National League.

i'll go against the masses here and say he wont repeat.....not a near 40-40 anyway......
a 300 average was an absolute fluke.....no one with that little plate discipline should be hitting that well.....there's a fine line between aggressive and impatient, and I think alfonso is on the wrong side of it.....
that being said, he's still the top option a second base.....
I just wouldn't pick him #2

well then how did he hit 40 HR's last year? did he get weaker over off-season?
i think he will do it again. im sure his hiting coach was all over him during the off-season about swingin' at balls in the strike zones. we will see how he does.

soriano will easily hit 30 no way he lets up when hes just in to the major leagues i could see if he had don ethat in like his 6th season but his soph. season he wont let up
