Helton 30 lbs Bigger?!?

I think he's gold this season, considering where you can get him. He's also looking very good in ST.

A little worried about his nagging injuries that have come up in the news very lately though.

Actually on the broadcast yesterday they said Todd had lost 30 pounds, so he really isn't up much at all, but it's just weird because he looks bigger. Probably because it's muscle. And the goatee is nice, too. ;-D

the best possible thing that could happen is that he gets traded to boston........ hes gonna put monster numbers in that lineup!

i picked him up in the 8th round of a 12 team league..

living in the Denver area, I've seen Helton bat in three or four spring games. he looks massive, more so than ever, and I'm not sure which way it will cut--more power, or added back and knee problems. he still owns the underlying hitting skills, so he could have a nice rebound. but he was not kept in my 9-player keeper league. i've asked about this at
