I respect his love for baseball, but I do think a lot of times he thinks he knows more than he actually does.

He's one of my favorite analysts on ESPN.

Loved the SportsCenter commercial where they reenacted the scene from Bull Durham. Can't find it on youtube.

Of all the baseball analysts I've heard over the course of my life, none have had as profound an effect on me as Gammons. He's not at all one of your typical "sensationalist" baseball analysts and the man has forgotten more baseball than any of us can remember. Truly, one of baseball class acts and a tremendous sports mind.
