America's Army

So I'm in EB buying the Special Forces expansion for BF2, cuz i'm addicted. The guy at the front counter says to me, "have you played America's Army?". I said no, and he tells me it's just as good as BF and is free!

Anyone else played it? Very good?

Yeah it's awesome. I love FPS especially multiplayer... I would also recommend Counter Strike (but be prepared as people are real jerks (Please watch the language) ). and Enemy Territory. ET is great because it is very team oriented and there are so many different little things about it that just makes it great. They are releasing ET: Quake Wars this year due to the free game's success. Similar game play.


I bought BF2 and returned it the same day. Same with FEAR. Just couldn't get into them for some reason

Excellent game... I would have actually paid for it to be honest. I played it for about 2-3 years back in the day and occasionally still play. Very realistic and excellent for a free game. (or any game for that matter.)

I used to play America's Army a lot... if you're into realistic gameplay, it's definitely the game for you. Stay out of open areas, work the angles - it's war, rather than Rambo. A lot of fun.
