Anyone who's been following the minors for the last couple years will recognize the name Greg Miller. He's had surgery to repair his shoulder but, supposidly he is back and feeling 100%. Infact heres a piece from the LA Times. Does this guy have the potential to once again become what he was once destined to be?
....For the first time, Little included left- hander Greg Miller in the list of candidates for the fifth spot in the Dodgers' starting rotation.
While Miller is the longest of long shots, the significance of Little's statement is that Miller, the organization's top lefty prospect before 2004 shoulder surgery derailed his career, is going back to starting.
"If he continues through spring training the way he came in here, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case," Little said. "This guy hasn't been healthy for a couple of years, but he is healthy now. We will do the best we can to continue his progress."
Little said Miller will enter Grapefruit League play on a starter's program, meaning he gradually will be stretched out to several innings at a time.
