Schilling?

The news is that the sox have three days to

a) convince schilling that he will want to play for them (he recently stated that he would only play for two teams...the phils and yanks)

b) sign him to an extension of his current $12 mil deal.

is he worth the bank? considering that if he doesnt end up here he might certainly be in ny?

is he worth fossum and the minor league talent? he is 37 and was hurt most of last season?

is he insurance for when pedro leaves after next year (most likelt to go to ny!

If I was the Sox, I'd seriously consider doing the trade and extension.
