We definitely need a better result this year. The best way to do this would probably be to leave the participants to the mods discretion. It sounds like this has been what's happening so far, but that's what makes sense to me.

I'll be interested in joining, but I think the odds of me getting in on the league aren't that good seeing how there's a bundle of Cafe members volunteering their services and two, the preference goes to Cafe members who have shown strong records especially with fellow Cafe members in the fold.

With that said, I'd like to see a process where FBC veterans of this challenge league are mixed with FBC'ers who haven't played yet in this league, but have shown strong track record and has active representation in the Cafe. I think the moderators alone nominating members for the league is convenient, but it could overlook other veterans if it's familiar names that are being summoned. I believe there's should be a mixture of moderator nominations as well as some Cafe members' nominations and have it come to a vote. Just a recommendation. ;-D

Wow, I just read through the thread, that's pretty depressing. I'm sure there are better candidates than me, but I'll throw my name out there as someone who is interested. I'll probably have to work my way up by dominating a couple cafe league first though.... :-D
