Report Missing Players to Yahoo?

Postby The Loveable Losers » Tue Feb 27, 2007 4:56 pm

Anyone know how you report a player that needs added to the Yahoo database to the people that take care of adding the players?

In my dealings with Yahoo, unless it's MLB player from last year and it's really an oversight, they will NOT add a player until he has reached the games played min for that season. Who do you think is missing could give us a better clue as to whether you'll get it fixed.

Al Reyes, now on Tampa Bay. He was in the minors all year last year but has 297 games in the major leagues for his career.

IIRC, if a player spends all a season in the minors, then he is subject to the same way they would treat a first year MLB player coming up from the minors. That means that he would have to get the minimum games to qualify to be added to the game. You can always email them at this page:

and see if it was an oversight.

Thanks! It sounds like he doesn't belong in the database by their normal rules but that said, guys like Alex Gordon are in the database. Both are expected to have major league jobs out of camp and Reyes could even end up as the D'Rays closer this year if McClung falters in ST.
