Pick a Young 1B

Postby gostanford07 » Mon Feb 26, 2007 5:47 pm

Of these three, who do you think has the best potential for the next couple of years? I can see cases for all three and have seen them in basically every possible position in rankings. So... who has the better 2-4 years comin up? Thanks

I went with Jackson as well, who has the highest ceiling and will most likely be the best player this upcoming season (although Shealy might give him a run for his money).

Jackson has the advantage in talent, park, performance, youth and lineup. The only thing that he needs is power at this point which will almost definitely come.

I personally like Jacobs. He's in a good young lineup, with Cabrera and Ramirez, and he's already proven he can hit well in the majors.

He certainly hit for more power than CJ but that is about it.
