You could use an ace, but it is not that essential. You have quality stars and some question marks. Personally, I would dump Chavez and try to get maybe a John Patterson - type pitcher, or maybe Bronson Arroyo. Gordon will start at 3rd as Teahen has been pretty much designated to the outfield.

I like your team. I see no major areas of concern. imo you do need to tweak your team in a few areas.

1. not a fan of Chavez as a starter in a 12 team league but you do have Gordon on your bench.

2. Scottie Pods might not start the season on the active roster due to off season surgery.

3. Your back end starters don't look worthy but time will tell. Keep a watchful eye on the ww to replace some of your starters
