when Albert ,Alfonso,and Johan is gone who is the best 4th or 5th pick option.

a lot of it depends on personnal preference. howard would be a fine pick, or reyes if youre not afraid of taking a speed guy early. the other option is arod, who is nothing if not consistent

I think Howard, Reyes, and A-Rod are the top picks left. Pick one along the lines of the dircetion you want to go with your team. I would go Howard, then A-Rod, then Reyes.

I think Reyes is the right pick here - its tough to find a guy with his speed and ability to hit the ball. Plus, he'll be leading off for an offense with Carlos Beltran and David Wright. A-rod has the protection behind him but hasnt been consistent enough for me. Howard is in a great position in philly, but has pat "the bat" burrel behind him.

i've had the 4th or 5th pick a few times this year and have taken arod. He is the most proven of the three, has the most lineup protection, and helps in all five categories. I personally couldn't take reyes that early, but I don't like building around speed. Even in a down year for arod, he scored nearly as many runs as reyes and hit for approximately the same average. Reyes is just a hamstring issue away from having very little value (and he has had leg injuries in every season but last).
