Hey Yoda, why didn't you bump the BJ Upton thread? :-D
Ok, so maybe it's a little long hehe.

That thread has actually been moved to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays forum.

Has BJ been shut down from stealing bases for the time being? Since his first few days back, he hasn't even attempted to run, he also hasn't had one extra base hit outside of 2 ground rule doubles and a million HRs ( ;-D ). (Yes, I am nit picking with Upton now lol).

No he hasnt been shut down. With Pena behind him they have worked well getting to score without stealing. He will start again to put pressure on the other teams. He is getting the feel back of running and his jumps, so he will be fine.

wow, Upton really has a nice swing. Is his running coming along? I watched him in his 1st couple games back and it looked like he was still hurting a little while running, he also got caught stealing and as thrown out at home. Has it looked better the last couple games?

He actually hurt it running the bases. They pulled him from the OF, but he was hurt before that

CF is extremely demanding considering you need to be sprinting from a completely stopped position. Probably the worst possible thing you can do to your legs. A guy coming off a leg injury for 5 weeks should have been DHing or playing 2B, not running around in CF but maybe that is just me.
