wveres, yeah nice points about selling out. Even though I am thinking of transferring to a college in SoCal, I don't know about the politics and baseball support down there. Here in the Bay Area we sell out Pac Bell (now SBC) pretty regularly. It is soooo hard to get tickets. Your reference does not describe the California baseball fan, it describes the SoCal baseball fan :-D . And, we were not dumb enough to give Arnold a majority of our votes.

Are you going in on season tickets? When Pac Bell opened, everyone was doubting that they would sell many tickets. We thought that at least the upper deck would always have some seats on game day. But no, EVERYONE bought tickets! Now a days I drool over seats in the bleachers. And, I have not sat at field level for two years.

A Smidgen of an Update

Here are the picks I made (the final day to submit them was 11/12/03), and my thoughts on the updated solidity of each prediction.

Miguel Tejada, Anaheim, Confidence 15 (I would say this is a 30% now)
Ivan Rodriguez, Florida, Confidence 14 (It looks like there is now 0% chance of a Pudge return)
Eddie Guardado, Minnesota, Confidence 13 (I'm still giving this one a 75% chance)
Mike Cameron, NY. Mets, Confidence 12 (A 70% chance)
Gary Sheffield, NY. Yankees, Confidence 11 (We all should agree that this one is about 99%)
Greg Maddux, San Deigo, Confidence 10 (I'll go with a 70% chance here as well)
Bartolo Colon, NY. Yankees, Confidence 9 (This one probably has about a 15% chance)
Keith Foulke, Oakland, Confidence 8 (There is still a 75% chance that he remains on the A's)
Rafael Palmeiro, Baltimore, Confidence 7 (Not out of the question, but seems unlikely 40%)
Javy Lopez, Chi. Cubs, Confidence 6 (This one is looking probable 80%)
Andy Pettite, Houston, Confidence 5 (75% Wouldn't Steinbrenner have wrapped him up by now?)
Vladimir Guerrero, San Francisco, Confidence 4 (This was wishful thinking, I'm still wishing 10%)
Kevin Millwood, NY. Mets, Confidence 3 (I am split with him 55%)
Sydney Ponson, Philadelpia, Confidence 2 (I am still behind this one 70%)
Luis Castillo, St. Louis, Confidence 1 (0%, now that he resigned with the Marlins)

Let me know what you think about my predictions for what will become of my predictions :-b .
