20 Team H2H Keeper (WHIR)

Just drafted a keeper on yahoo, 6x6 with holds and hits added. I punted saves but should win holds. Please gimme your opinion on this team and how it could be improved. (Not specific players just something like trade for CI for speed ect....) Also infield positions are C, 2MI, and 2 CI for positon flex. Thanks in advance, Ryan.

I understand this is a 20 team league, but I dont think you can conten this year.

Sheets is injury prone Holliday is unproven. Mcann is unproven. I mean if some of those younger guys step up your team should do fine, but I am not sold on them.

I dont agree with fantasybeast you should do pretty well holliday will have a solid to say the least year. Also mccan is one of the best at catcher also tex is a stud and i like kinsler. You should do well.

I like the team and it has the potential to be great. However, if some of those players don't perform as projected you might be in some trouble.

I like the overall potential of you're team Chipper and Tex will have great years but you do lack speed

twenty team leagues are so difficult to predict, because so much depends on the health of key players. With so few stars on each team, an injury really could hurt. That's why I am a little uncomfrtable with sheets and sabathia as your number one and two starters.

Offensively, I think you will be fine IF chipper can stay healthy. I disagree that Holliday is unproven and I think he and tex will be a great 1-2 punch on offense. I would try to upgrade the OF2 spot and try to grab a reliable second level starter in case sheets goes down (think and barry zito type who you can count on for at least wins and innings). Your main trade bait to fill these holes may be gonzalez.

As for speed, just scour the wire aggressively - in a 20 team league a bunch of teams will be seriously lacking speed. Good strategy on punting saves and grabbing holds.
