How's this roster look? WHIR

Postby nateshuffle40gb » Sun Feb 25, 2007 1:55 pm

Hey everyone,

I've been looking around these forums for a bit, but this is post #1 for me. Looks like you guys have a great community here, and I look forward to contributing my fantasy knowledge. ;-D

Anyways, I don't think I drafted this team very well. Are there any glaring weaknesses (besides the obvious dearth of talent at 2B and SS)? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I wouldn't say that you have a glaring weaknes at SS, Lopez should be alright. hudson sucks, though. Heck, there's gotta be someone on the waiver wire better, even. Otherwise, you've got some nice power there, maybe not so much speed but that's one category vs three for power. Your SP are decent but your RP are risky. Gagne should come back alright, but there's no guarantee, and I'm not a fan of Cordero, but hopefully he'll hold it together.

Really, I think find yourself a better 2B off the wire, and you'll be alright.

That's not a bad lineup. Desent power. You could do ALOT worse at SS, Lopez will suffice and also contribute SBs. I would try and upgrade hudson though,if possible. SP looks very solid! RP might need a tweak. But that can be addressed during the season(just keep an eye on all closer situations-as they change frequently).
Good Luck!
