sounds like it would basically just add on a 5 year/75 million contract to the end of the 2 years he has left now, running through 2013.
this has been building up for a week or two and sounds like its almost a sure thing now.
Its a lot for young, especially considering hes already 30, but im glad they are rewarding young for what hes done for the rangers. hopefully they can finally have a good year and convince tex to stick around too.
