I agree, I had 6th pick in my 1st year 5x5 keeper league and Reyes fell to me, and I felt I had to take him when I really wanted Cabrera. Rollins fell to the 3rd round, Hanley in the 4th, where I could have got both of them seeing where they were drafted in the round...needless to say, I was kicking my for taking Reyes and really not happy with my 1st rounder.
If I were to do it over, Reyes would not be my 1st round pick and I would go after a SS in the 3rd round.
Thanks chipper!!!!
There is such a thing called clutch and David Ortiz is the modern day definition of it

Bingo. SS is deep, and Reyes is a waste of a first pick, IMHO. I like your draft strategy mentioned here, OldStyle.
Furcal is the way i want to go this year. For some reason he seems to go in the 4th-5th round even though he has very similar numbers to all the SS taken infront of him. I think he is the safer less sexy pick to Hanley.
However, I dont think you can afford to miss Furcal as there is a clear drop off after him (depending on Glaus i suppose).
