Grudzielanek for MVP

This might be a little late, but I was reading the paper yesterday and noticed that Grudzielanek got 1 vote for 8th MVP, totaling 3 points. Is his Mom a member of the Baseball Writer's Association of America?

It was probably a sports writer that couldn't decide on another player to put on his list so he went for someone unexpected. The HOF is the same way. Check out the HOF ballot counts from the last ten years. Heck even Scott Sanderson got a vote! 8-o
