Francona has Fenway follow-up
By Ian Browne / MLB.com
BOSTON -- Terry Francona continues to pick up steam in his quest to become the 44th manager in Red Sox history.
After meeting with Red Sox principal owner John W. Henry pn Tuesday in Florida, Francona was back at Fenway Park on Wednesday for a follow-up interview with general manager Theo Epstein and some additional club brass.
Francona first interviewed for the position on Nov. 5 at Fenway Park.
Including his meeting with Henry in Florida, Francona has now had three meetings with the Sox.
None of the other candidates has had more than one.
I think Glenn Hoffman might be a little better fit for the BoSox....but it looks like it is Franconas' job to lose....
