I work at a small all-boys adolescent group home in central Pennsylvania and set up a poetry contest for the youth. I received the poems today and posted them at the group home’s website -- promising the guys that I would get some people from all over to check out their poems and hopefully leave some positive/constructive feedback. There aren’t too many, although some of the poems seem a little jumbled and wordy. I divided the poems into two groups: Group A are the older teens, Group B are the little guys. Please vote on which one you like the best from each group and leave some feedback (as much as possible, please leave the feedback at the group home’s site -- it will be easier for the guys to check it that way). This won’t take you more than a few minutes, so I really hope we can get a lot of good responses. Thanks so much in advance. I know this will be a good self-esteem boost for these guys, who are pretty proud of their poems.
