14 team 5x5 keeper strategy

5x5 OBP for BA
14 teams
4 keepers (you lose the round u drafted the guy in the following draft)

What is the latest you would take your first pitcher...I use the LIMA system and think I can get a closer in round 6 and take starters around 11 after most hitters are taken.

#4 pick overall...

I think I can go....Utley round 1, Han Ram round 2, Abreu round 3.....What strategy would you look for roudn 4-10...big bats? solid arms??

If you're going with those three guys, I'd look for a bat in 4. I like those pick, but thats probably a max of 75 homeruns. After then, it depends on your league. I always go with best available player, but I avoid relievers.

I agree with that...I think Han Ram might make it back to me in the 3rd round so i would take Carlos Lee or Bay or Sizemore if available in 2nd. If any of those guys are still there I will jump on them.

Are you set at that? I personally would NOT take Utley in the first round, much less at number four. I would look at taking Santana there. I would go:

Santana
Hafner
Abreu/HanRam

If you are set at taking Utley at 4, I would go Utley, Hafner (OBP is amazing) and HanRam. In the fourth I would look at taking a pitcher (Carp, Oswalt, Halladay, Peavy) and in the fifth look for another bat (DLee has slipped here)

Santana is going #2, if Hafner is there of course I will take him, but he will be gone already....
