Brad Wilkerson anyone?

.255 average, 25-30 HR if he plays full time and is healthy. The odds of him playing full time and being healthy are pretty small though.

I've been high on him for two years in a row and he hasn't even come close to producing. I remember that he hit for the cycle and had three homeruns a few games into April and then completely broke down. It's hard to put any faith in him again. The 30 homer campaign three years ago in RFK looks promising, but he hasn't delivered.

There is a difference between being hurt and being a bust. For the past 2 years he's been playing hurt, now he got the shoulder fixed. He makes a pretty decent sleeper this year but he still has his batting average downside and he still is a significant injury risk.

Yeah, I like him as a sleeper in that ballpark. Also, pay no mind to people saying that the Texas outfield is crowded. It is but only with marginal talent. Sosa is a longshot to make the club and only will DH even if he did make the team, Byrd/Guzman/Lofton/ are only CF options and Guzman will pinch run a lot. Cruz will be the RF and I think Botts/Cat will actually DH since I doubt Sosa makes the team. But Wilkerson is firmly the starting LF and they really speak highly of him with the organization. If Wilkerson can stay healthy he'll produce and he'll also likely have a good spot in the order.
