I think you could use some speed in the OF, maybe Taveras. Top to bottom it's a solid team. What are your thoughts on Gordon -- he is on the WW in my league.

vandysports,
As far as Gordon goes, I'm just stashing on bench to see how he
produces. If he's anywhere near what they say he'll accomplish this season, he should then put up some very descent numbers. KC is already moving Teahan to OF,even though he was excelling at 3B, to make room for Gordon. All sources have him in contention for Rookie of Year(tween him and Delmon). hopefully he lives up to the hype. I figure he's worth a gamble.

I would definetly be concerned with speed. Seriously think about acquiring or picking up WIlly Taveres. Colorado obtained him because they were terribe in steals last year so my thoughts are is they are going to let him run wild. Could be a VERY cheap Juan pierre. Cut Duncan to get him. I would also look for a better SS than Sanchez try and trade McCan for one then drop sanchez for Laird or paulino. The production should not be that far off and it will be worth it. The OF I would also be concerned with. Bay was really nbad last year if you subtract his month of May and he is recovering from knee surgery. He could be a STUD again but is a risk. Young, who knows what to expect could be very good. Ibanez will have a down year in my opinion. I'd wait with Gordon as well, he should be a STUD right away and odds are he will be given 3rd base and not have to compete.

I like all of your pitchers except Garcia and Johnson. I love johnson but think he will be injured most of the year, he is already having problems. I would def try to trade him now. Keep your eye out for Hensley (He will be great this year and wont be available too long after the season starts) and Pelfry. I am touting Pelfry as this years Verlander. He has the speed and team to make big things happen. Albeit if he makes the team which I think he will.

Let me know if any of those suggestions work out and make sense

i like your trade thoughts to pick up some extra speed, i may try to aim a little higher than a taveras though, i'm just not sold on him..yet
i like all of the pistcher except its not looking good for tankersly to win the closer position at least in the begining of the season pick up an extra starter

Nice, well rounded team from top to bottom. Yes, speed might be an issue for you, but you'll be able to pick up some cheap steals off the waiver wire most likely. If Taveras is on waivers, I'd drop Duncan for him. Taveras has already mentioned to the press that he'll be running as often as possible this season and could get a boatload of steals (40+ is a strong possibility).
