Burnett can't be on the list right now. It's too unfair to the pitchers who are healthy for more than a quarter of the season. Has there ever been a pitcher with more unfulfilled potential?

Half the pitcher on the Cubs?
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.

Burnett made over 20 starts last year, I'm pretty sure that's over a quarter of the season. However, I'm not exactly sure how that's relevant to a discussion of the best pitches in baseball, which Burnett should almost certainly be a part of considering his stuff.
He has an electrifying two-seamer I believe. We didn't get to see a lot of it last year obviously.
Burnett's curve is actually better than Halladay's as well, and that's saying something.
Burnett's "stuff" is up there with anybody in the league. If he can harness it and stay on the field he'd be top 5 pitcher in baseball. But the if's are still there. But a healthy year from him and Halladay plus Chacin with the Jays lineup makes me smile.
Anyway, back on topic, based on pure stuff Burnett has to be there somewhere. Whether it be his FB or Curve.
If I were a Blue Jay fan nothing about Chacin would make me smile.
Not even his 200+ IP 2005 season? He may not be able to duplicate it, but he's a capable #3-4 starter for the Jays at his best I believe. Even with injury problems and a terrible start to the season last year he still ended up with somewhat respectable numbers for the AL East.

Hands down, the best pitch in baseball in Marianos Cutter. There shouldn't even be a debate. Like already stated, it's the only pitch he throws. The batter KNOWS it's coming, and he is one of the most sucessful closers ever. If hitters knew Santana's changeup, among other great pitches, was coming, they could probably hit them about half the time. But Mariano dominates the game with just one pitch. Unbeliveable.
I'll also take Trevor Hoffman's change up, Bobby Jenks' Fastball and Liriano's Slider.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.
