i like Herrera's tools more but the injury scares me and set him back. i'd take Hunter right now over Javier till he proves hes over the injury and his progression wasnt stunted because of it.

I believe Javier was also caught using performance-enhancing drugs before his injury. Whether this will affect his production or hamper expectations is up in the air.

Hunter showed great contact rate with low k's last year, a great indicator to predict future productivity. Add to the fact that he has speed, and I believe he has the higher ceiling potential.

Hunter projects to be a Jacques Jones type player.

I disagree. Jones is more of a free swinger that has a higher k rate. I compare Hunter to someone more along the line of Shannon Stewart when he first came up.

I personally see Herrera as a Vernon Wells type player if he can bounce back and continue his progression. I see Hunter, if all things go accordingly, comparable to Tori Hunter
