Major Confusion

I have been playing fantasy baseball for years and always draft great teams, however I can never seem to place higher than 4th place. I play in roto and H2H Yahoo leagues mainly. Does anyone have any proven advice on how to win? Here is what I have to start off with this season (my keepers).

Looks like good keepers to me. Have you looked on the yahoo page to see what categories you win big in and which you lose big in? I always seem to draft crappy closers. My goal this year is to take a KRod or Nathan early...earlier than I normally take closers.

As far as head-to-head goes, it's a crapshoot, man. Whoever is hot in the playoffs will take the trophy. Last year in my 14-team league, we had a sub-.500 team squeak into the postseason and win it all.

You have a pretty good infield to put it mildly..got 1/2/3 base nailed down and arguably the best catcher out there.

If you can..what does it cost to keep a player and for how long can you use a keeper? Part of me says to toss Verlander unless you keep him DIRT cheap..then keep Wagner or Delmon. If you don't want to do that then keep Bonderman but I myself don't trust Verlander a bit.

Draft a decent shortstop somewhere, then get a decent closer and SP. You have 2 good OF's but I don't know how many other spots in a lineup you need to fill (I'm assuming Default Yahoo which is 8 fielding and a util).
