That's why it's best to find an honest private money league to compete in where a good commish handles things.[/quote]

i completely agree. it is hard to get 12 guys for an online draft nevermind an off line draft. But it is more fun, and if it is your buddies you actually have to face them in person if u make a scumbag move in the league.

I think vetoed trades are supposed to get sent to CBS for final review. If the trade is "fair", they generally override the veto.

However, based on my experience, they seem unwilling to override the league view, which is why I stopped playing.

But the 4 votes is just 50% of the non-involved owners - very similar to other veto situations. But if they actually start to follow their rules, I'd think your trade should get put through, though it may take a couple days.

Basically he is saying he is going to veto any trade that helps improve other teams, which is basically every trade. People like this have no business playing fantasy, if you're only doing it to win money, get a job. I like a pay league because it brings the competitiveness up a notch, but I would never veto a trade for those reasons. Pathetic.

Time to find a new league. Check the classifieds and try to find a league close to home. Live, in person drafts are alot of fun too.

i feel sorry for you man. all it takes is one owner to keep a league from being enjoyable. talk to the commish and see if he can talk some sense into that owner.

its not that big a deal, I have a keeper league with friends that makes my fantasy year regardless of what other leagues I am in. It's just always frustrating to get vetoed. I am the commish of my keeper league and I have never vetoed a trade, (although maybe a coupe times I should have). Having a league with friends is unbeatable.
