Great obp... decent power and speed. Great glove. What's not to love? Defense was our biggest weakness last year (that and injuries) and Mathews at CF is an IMMEDIATE UPGRADE over Figgy. He'll get a lot of liners GA and Vlad can't run down anymore.

GMJ 2006 had -6 FRAA (fielding runs above average) which makes significantly below average. What a joker this guy is. I hope he pans out, but I believe this move will get Stoneman fired. Also, Great OBP? his lifetime OBP is .336! thats not even normal or below average, thats horrendous.

I'm taking a wait and see attitude with GJM. He seems focused on the business of playing ball. I hope steriods sideshow does not detract from his play.

I agree Stony made a bad signing with GJM. Can't blame GJM for taking the money, so I hope Angels fans don't take it out on him.

I actually hope he used, and still uses, HGH, So our Halos get their Monies worth. And if Im going to get upset at anybody, its not going to be GMJ, and I'll give you one guess who it'll be...
