Hitting is great.

Pitching will either be hit or miss. Schilling, Josh Johnson, Pettitte, Igawa could all be amazing or busts this year. Having Carpenter and Peavy makes that a pretty minimal problem for you though. Certainly there will be WW starters to pick up if Igawa sucks.

RP is scary in Isring, but also easily replaceable by WW throughout the year.

I'd feel very comfortable with that team.

Since this team is in a non-keeper league, i would try to sell Russell Martin while he is valued. I really do not see much of a point to have v-mart and martin in a normal league. Otherwise i like your batting. As for your pitching schilling and igawa both have question marks attached to them. Schilling is getting old and no one knows how igawa's skill is going to translate into the MLB. But you have a nice solid base with carpenter and peavy. Finally for your closers, rivera is fine, izzy has health issues but it seems like hes gunna be fine for the start of the season, and id add one more closer (search the waiver wire, id bet there be a few closers maybe wickman, torres, borowski...)

decent offense and great pitching. Not to sure about D. Young though. You said non-keeper league so I'd see if I could get a proven OF for him.

Help me out:

thanks guys. Im thinking of trading russell but i dont know what kind of player i could get in return... with the pitching what i did was get 2 solid starters like peavy and carp and got "risk" players in igawa and schilling who might either pay off big or might be busts. You guys think i should trade young? who should i target 4 my team?
