My Team... Used some of your advice

Postby bpizle » Tue Feb 20, 2007 6:07 pm

Hey guys I posted my roster on here about a week ago and some said I needed to make some changes. I have seen some great teams on here so I am kind of ashamed to show mine off compared to some of yours. Anyway, I traded Luke Scott, Jason Giambi, and Derek Lowe for Lance Berkman and Brad Penny. I did this trade mainly because I needed some depth at hitting, also, I heard Giambi was still battling wrist problems, Penny is also supposed to get into the closing role. Which would boost his value greatly in my league. ANyway, here is the new and rejuvenated lineup for me after some trades.

Active Batters

Baldelli, Rocco CF TB
Quentin, Carlos RF ARI
Anderson, Garret LF ANA
Hafner, Travis DH CLE
Matsui, Kaz 2B COL
Shealy, Ryan 1B KC
Active Pitchers
Maine, John SP NYM
Penny, Brad SP LA
Sanchez, Anibal SP FLA
Santana, Johan SP MIN

Kaz Matusi is waiver fodder, not worth a bench slot unless you absolutely need a 2b, he will likely rot untill someone needs him on the waiver wire.

I would drop him and add a closer if any are available.
