Sirius doesn't claim that they are 100% commercial free...they claim their
music stations are 100% commercial free...which they are. XM has a few stations on their service (I think those stations are owned by ClearChannel) that have commercials on them.
Anyway, I have to imagine that a merger will make the music services the base subscription with the Entertainment and Sports being add-ons that will cost extra.

If people have to pay more money for Howard, I think there will be a few people jumping ship. I used to listen to Howard in the mornings, but recently I've been listening to Covino & Rich on Maxim Radio...I think they are pretty funny and more in-tune to my age group.
I don't listen to much NFL on the radio unless I happen to be out and about...but most of the time I am home watching the games. Same goes for MLB...I will probably keep my MLB.tv for this year because of working 2nd shift. So if they do make it so I have to pay to get the sports, I'd probably decline it. I'd still rather have my lifetime subscription be valid...
