The league is full.

Leave or PM me your email if your interested.

Welcome to the first annual :

Boys of Summer Fantasy Baseball League

This is an auction draft, dynasty/keeper league.
The league will be run on Yahoo’s Fantasy baseball site.
http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1

IT IS A FREE LEAGUE.

This is a head to head league with the traditional 5X5 scoring categories.

Draft:
The draft will be held on a separate site.(it requires a separate registration)
It will be run on Fantasy Auctioneer on Sunday February 25 at 7:00P.M. EST.
You must register for the auction by February 22nd.
http://www.fantasyauctioneer.com
Auction format: $300 salary cap $1 minimum bid.
There will be 12 teams.

Roster size:
1-C 1-1B 1-2B 1-SS 1-3B 3-OF 2-UT 4-SP 3-RP 3-P 5-Bench

Dynasty/keepers:

You can keep any number of players for the next year. (so long as you stay under the cap) The salaries of those players who are kept will increase 20% with a minimum of a $1 increase.

Examples: Player A bought for $50, to keep= $60
Player B bought for $1, to keep= $2

Players not kept will have their salaries removed from the team and will be available in the draft.
The cap will increase to $320 for year 2.
The cap will increase $10 dollars every year there after.

Notes about waiver wire transactions:
A player picked up off of waivers has a salary of $1.
If a player is dropped from a team his salary is removed from that team and if that player is picked up by another team his salary is $1. If the same team requires the player, the salary is the same as what the team originally paid for the player going it to the year.
Waiver priority to start the season will be the team will the most cap room has the highest priority and then down from there. If a tie, the tie will be broken by looking at a teams highest paid player. The team with the lower priced, highest paid player will have priority. If still tied look to the second highest paid players and so on.

Trades:
In a trade a player salary transfers to the new team. The team maybe over the cap during the season, but must be under the cap for the start of next season.

DL:
There will be 2 DL slots. All DL slots must be cleared at the end of the season.
