New Yahoo Team, tell me what you think.

Wow, I let the autodraft draft for me with this one, might have been a mistake. Although I always do one autodraft each year. Anyway, I had the first overall pick, tell me what you think.

Just a tidbit, Oswalt was taken 2nd overall, just a little high :-°

C- Varitek
1B- Pujols
2B- Figgins
3B- Mora
SS- Drew (real stretch with this, not sure I like it but we'll see)
OF- Sizemore
OF- Ordonez
OF- Francoeur
Util- Hafner
Bench- LaRoche (just a shame to be on the bench), O. Hudson, Duffy, Bradley, Feliz

SP- Webb
SP- Lackey
RP- Gordon
RP- Paplebon (gonna keep him as a starter, but working on getting a closer off the WW, maybe Torres, he's best available)
P- F. Hernandez
P- Bedard
P- Rogers

Just leave a link, I'll help you too.

Pretty solid team. Your infield is a bit shaky. Maybe if you like Laroche so much, you can trade Hafner for a good infield bat or a catcher. Get rid of Bedard, he's gone for the season.

:-S . . . it's Benson not Bedard that's done for the year.

The lineup is fine, but you could use more depth with your pitching. Just my opinion, but if you could find a top setup man like Linebrink or Zumaya, you'd be better off with them than a closer that'll hurt your ratio stats.

LaRoche is too good to be on the bench. Trade him or Hafner for help elsewhere.

In a yahoo league, you don't need that hitters on the bench. you'll be much better served by droping guys like hudson, feliz, and duffy. replace them with promising starting pitchers or closers. hitters are king, but depth is more important in the rotation, because pitchers only play at most twice a week.

you might try to trade some of your excess hitting to upgrade your starters on the right side of your infield. Drew has all the talent in the world, but probably isn't the best solution this year, and i wouldn't trust mora to be a good option at third.

other than that, this is a decent team. good luck.
