HOW DO YOU RANK MY KEEPERS GOING INTO THIS SEASON(whir)

Im in a 12 team 5x5 H2H keeper league. We keep 8.
Just wanted to see how you like my keepers going into the draft.

At the end of the season I had: Reyes, Glaus, Konerko, Dye, C.Lee, Webb, Haren, Rios, Putz, Zito as my potentials.

I traded Glaus for McCann and a 5th round draft pick

Then I traded a 3rd round pick for Zimmerman.

Then I traded Rios for a 3rd round pick and finally I traded Putz and Zito for a 3rd and a 7th.

Now Im left with:

Reyes
C.Lee
Konerko
Dye
McCann
Zimmerman
Webb
Haren

I also now have 2 high 3rd round picks as opposed to a low 3rd rounder and also an extra high 7th rounder.

How did I do???

a solid set of keepers. i like the zimmerman deal, but not really a fan of the rios trade. he should be a really good player in the future, but there really was no one else for you to drop to keep him. hopefully you'll get some good players with those extra picks

I like most of them however im not so sure Dye will have a 2006 season again. But otherwise great keepers

it looks like your in pretty good shape going into your draft. great keepers, you have solid players at key and scarce positions, and those extra picks should help you fill out your roster. a good draft, and you could be a favorite.

I like your keepers assuming C. Lee is Carlos and not Cliff. But I am not too big on trading good players to upgrade draft picks in a keeper league where typically the best 80 players are not eligible to be drafted. Having said that, Zito would look good on your list rather than Haren

Love all of the trades till the last one. But Mccan and a fifth round pick for glaus is like taking candy from a babby (almost veto material lol) and I love getting Zimmerman for a third round pick with 100 players of the board. My problem in the last trade is small. I think Zito may have a better year in 07 though it will most likely be dan harens breakout season but in a keeper, its ok. i would have tried to get a first or second seeing as this is a keeper lague and my asumption is you arent getting these players back.

So....i would've been cutting Zito and Putz anyways. I tried to shop them around for more but only a couple teams in my league had room for 2 more keepers.....not much of a market.

I took what I could get rather than lose them for nothing.

i like it. im a fan of keeping batters and all you need is a 2b, an of, and a util. That wont be too hard to fill. As for your trades i loved the mccann trade (he has a lot of potential.. im thinking 25-30 hrs) but i think you could of easily gotten more with the zito/putz trade. Otherwise the trades helped your team and i like your keepers.
