Heard this on the radio and confirmed on Fanball.com

Keith Foulke has retired from baseball, reports ESPN.com. Foulke reportedly felt pain in his elbow before reporting to training camp and opted to retire instead of suffering through yet another injury-plagued season.

Hats off to Keith Foulke...we couldn't have won in 2004 without you.

A better ballplayer than a person, but still his career should have been longer.
"I do not think baseball of today is any better than it was 30 years ago... I still think Radbourne is the greatest of the pitchers." John Sullivan 1914-Old athletes never change.
